Dr. Colton Jayne, MD is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician. He is highly skilled, an excellent listener, and dedicated to the health of his patients with over 8 years of experience practicing in South Carolina and Kentucky. His passion for taking care of people extends beyond his primary field, as he is excited to bring his expertise and compassionate approach to his aesthetic and weight loss practice. Dr. Jayne also has specialized training in Sports medicine and Geriatric medicine. Before pursuing a career in medicine, Dr. Jayne earned his Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Kentucky. He then worked in the coal and natural gas industry in Eastern Kentucky. He went back to Lexington to attend the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, where he obtained his Medical Degree. Following medical education, he completed a rigorous Family Medicine residency program at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Jayne and his wife Dr. Jayne moved back to Kentucky when they had their first son Ezra. They both feel incredibly privileged to serve as a physicians in their home state of Kentucky. Over the past few years, Dr. Jayne has added medical expertise to his aesthetic practice. He enjoys incorporating the latest techniques and treatments into his practice. Dr. Kristina Jayne, MD is a board-certified Pediatrician. She received her Bachelors of Science in Biology with a minor in Psychology from the University of Kentucky. She then chose to complete a challenging Pediatric Residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. She has been in private pediatric practice since residency and has experience serving in various hospitals providing NICU/Level II nursery and level I newborn nursery coverage. Dr. Jayne is practiced in pediatrics for over 9 years and is excited to now have the opportunity to provide direct pediatric care in our community. As the mother of 2 small boys, Dr. Jayne understands how important it is to have a doctor that is accessible, compassionate, and responsive. It is the relationships with her patients and their families which brings joy and meaning to her work. Direct Pediatric care is based on trust, open communication, and continuity which is why she chose it for her practice. Dr. Jayne and her husband, Dr. Jayne, now live in Georgetown and they love spending time with their Kentucky family as well as playing/adventuring outside together in the Bluegrass with their boys.
Channa brings a wealth of expertise to our Georgetown, KY practice. Her roots lie in the charming Eastern KY town of Salyersville, She initially served as an ICU nurse for many years before pursuing advanced education at Frontier Nursing University. This solidified her commitment to providing top-notch healthcare to her patients. In addition to her advanced nursing qualifications, she is certified through the Kentucky Board of Nursing, ensuring that she meets the highest professional standards. Her educational journey also includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University, further reinforcing her strong foundation in nursing and patient care.

Hayllee Switzer is the practice manager at BDPC. She has been in healthcare since the age of 16 and brings a wide variety of experience to her role. With training as a Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist, Nursing Assistant, and in IV therapy, Hayllee wears many hats to help coordinate patient care from start to finish. She is deeply passionate about being a reliable resource for both patients and staff.
Hayllee’s goal is to provide compassionate, high-quality care, ensuring that every patient feels like family. When she’s not at work, she cherishes every moment spent with her “mini me” daughter and her loved ones, balancing her dedication to healthcare with the joys of family life.
Hi, I’m Julie Southworth, a National Certified Phlebotomist and Patient Care Coordinator at
BCDP. I completed my certification (CPT) through KY Healthcare Training, in Lexington and I’m
in the process of completing the program as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA).
As a CPT, I specialize in blood draws and labs. I strive to make patients feel more at ease
during a stressful situation. Majority of people don’t like needles therefore I show compassion
and patience during the process. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and
three girls , homeschooling my kids and coaching softball.

Our physicians have specialized training in Sports Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Primary Care Pediatric Medicine and Aesthetic Medicine.
Sometimes there are obstacles to coming into a medical office, but your doctor is still available. Our doctors can meet you over a HIPAA-compliant connection via Spruce. Same-day appointments are available! Telehealth is open and available upon request for members.
